Presentation-led construction
The bow is the visual centre of this style, so it is specified in proportion to the packed pouch rather than to the flat one. It is also the element most vulnerable in transit — if pouches ship packed in bulk, raise it at sampling so packing and the bow are checked together.
How the bow closure works
A pre-tied or tie-to-close bow is a presentation decision more than a containment one. It photographs well and it signals gifting immediately, but it holds loosely and it is the part most likely to be crushed in transit. If the pouch ships packed in bulk rather than individually, plan for the bow to arrive flattened unless the packing accounts for it.
Check bow proportion against the packed pouch, not the empty one — a bow scaled to an empty pouch can look undersized once the pouch has volume.
The fabric
The suede-feel surface is dense, short-pile and low-lint, which is why it is used where the fabric is in constant contact with polished metal, stones or lenses. It debosses cleanly and takes foil well. Colour shifts with pile direction, so approve a physical swatch with the nap running the production direction rather than judging from a photograph.
