Intertek On-Site Assessment
An independent assessor visited the site and verified that the facility, equipment and quality system are what the company says they are.
What it does not cover: It assesses the site and its systems. It is not a product test and does not certify any individual pouch.
Ask for: Ask for the assessment report to see the scope and date of the visit.
RoHS Test Reports
Laboratory reports covering restricted hazardous substances in tested materials. The supplier record lists reference TQT7424B2028E.
What it does not cover: Reports cover the specific materials submitted for testing, not automatically every fabric in the catalog. A different fabric may need its own test. A reference number is not proof the document is current or that its scope covers your product.
Ask for: Ask for the current PDF against that reference, confirm its validity date, and check which materials and trims it covers for your specification.
REACH Test Reports
European chemical-compliance testing on submitted materials. The supplier record lists reference TQT8032B40E.
What it does not cover: REACH obligations sit with the importer placing goods on the EU market. A supplier test report supports your file — it does not transfer the compliance duty, and it covers only the materials tested.
Ask for: Ask for the current PDF against that reference and confirm the substance list and scope match the fabric, dye and trims in your order.
Alibaba Trade Assurance
A platform-backed order protection scheme. Payment is held against an order contract with agreed specification, quantity and delivery date, and there is a dispute process.
What it does not cover: It protects against the terms as written in the contract. A dispute about fabric weight is hard to win if the contract only said "custom pouch".
Ask for: Put the full specification into the order contract, not a summary.
10-Year Gold Supplier
A platform status reflecting continuous verified membership over time. Useful as evidence of trading history and continuity.
What it does not cover: It is a membership and history indicator, not a quality certification or an audit result.
Ask for: Treat it as one input on company stability, alongside the business licence registration date.
100% Finished-Product Inspection
Every finished unit is inspected before packing rather than a sample being pulled from the lot. Inspection is against the approved pre-production sample.
What it does not cover: It is an internal process, not third-party verification of a given shipment.
Ask for: Agree the inspection standard and the acceptance criteria in writing before production starts, and book third-party inspection separately if you want independent verification.
Organic Fabric Options
Fabric with organic certification can be specified for programs that require it.
What it does not cover: "Organic options available" is not the same as a certificate covering your specific order. Certification is chain-of-custody based and has to be traced for the actual goods.
Ask for: Name the certification your market requires with your inquiry, so the documentation path can be checked before you commit a claim to artwork.
