What to Know Before You Specify

Everything in this range is a cotton drawstring pouch, and the variation sits in three places: the weave, the draw and the print. Plain cotton, twill and canvas each take a logo differently, and the choice between a cotton cord and a satin ribbon changes how the pouch reads on a counter more than any other single detail at this price point.

Cotton is the range buyers reach for when the packaging has to feel natural rather than luxurious, and when it may be kept and reused rather than opened once. That reuse is the point worth designing for — a pouch that gets carried is a logo that keeps working.

Weave decides the print

Screen print holds cleanly on smooth cotton and twill; on a heavier canvas weave, fine line work and small type start to break up. Send artwork early so the method can be matched to the fabric.

Cord or ribbon

A cotton cord reads utilitarian and hard-wearing; a satin ribbon reads gift-first. Both are in regular production — decide from how the pouch is handed over, not from the swatch.

Natural fibre varies

Colour and texture shift slightly between production runs, which is normal for cotton. Keep an approved counter-sample as the reference for reorders.

Common Questions

Can cotton pouches be printed in full colour?

Screen printing is the usual route and suits clean, bold artwork in a limited number of colours. Photographic or gradient artwork is a different process and needs to be discussed against the specific fabric — send the artwork with your inquiry so the method can be confirmed before sampling.

Is the cotton organic?

Organic-certified cotton can be specified for programmes that require it, but "organic options available" is not the same as a certificate covering your order. Name the certification your market requires in your inquiry so the documentation path can be checked before you commit a claim to artwork.

What sizes are available?

Sizes are specified from what goes inside rather than picked from a fixed chart. Send the item's finished dimensions and the internal size is worked back from them.
